Mechanic Responsibilities:
Maintain equipment history cards for all machines. Plumbing, electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs. Maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment. Monitor and test water treatment operations. Monitor kitchen equipment and any additional tasks that may be required and assigned by Supervisors/Management.
Qualifications:
- Commitment and passion to maximizing guest satisfaction in each stage of the guest experience, particularly as it pertains to exceptional standards of maintenance and repair
- Demonstrate willingness/enjoyment to attend to the needs of others
- Outstanding attention to detail – both in regards to maintenance specifications, preventative maintenance and cleaning practices and the level of attention required
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment and repair
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Previous carpentry experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Working knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to read blue prints and sketching floor plans
- General knowledge of WHMIS and health & safety procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
- Proficient with power and hand tools
- Demonstrate the ability to use the Lockout/Tag out system before performing any maintenance work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Maintenance capacity, Electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic experience preferred
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (i.e. lifting 50lbs, climbing ladders)
- Related College Diploma or the equivalent in education and experience.
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
