Hiring a Janitor/Light Duty Cleaner to join our team!
Job Details:
This role offers shifts of 4 hours per day. Some flexibility to choose shift hours within the 7am-4pm timeframe. Minimum of 20 hours per week. Additional hours will be available to cover vacation and sick leave. Hours will always fall between Monday to Friday – no weekends! The position is available immediately and starts at $16.55 per hour. There are opportunities for advancement.
The person in this position will be assigned to our client in Niagara Falls, near Portage Road and Thorold Stone Road.
Duties will include cleaning the common areas:
- General cleaning of main lobby, washrooms, and elevators
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Washing walls and windows
- Cleaning and sanitizing high touch points
- Maintaining the garbage room and taking all garbage and recycling out on designated days
Note: The person in this role does not clean the residents’ individual units.
Main requirements: Positive attitude, reliable/dependable, able to work independently/with no supervision, and stay on track to complete tasks.
