SUPPLY TEACHER

Bee Montessori Niagara is seeking a passionate and dedicated supply teacher (can be RECE) to join our growing school community. The successful candidate will be on-call to cover in the classroom for a teacher who has taken a personal day.

Job Description/Responsibilities Include:
● Working hours: 8:15 am – 5:30 pm daily, Monday through Friday (depending on the
position the candidate is covering)
● Provides assistance to Montessori teachers as needed
● Provides one on one support to children as needed
● Prepares and serves catered snacks and lunch to the children
● Uses a positive and effective approach to behaviour management that aligns with Bee Montessori’s philosophy and values.
● Models desired behaviours
● Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times when
communicating with students, families and colleagues
● Complies with Ministry of Education regulations

Qualifications:
● Previous experience working with children ages 12 months – 6 years
● RECE (preferred)
● Current First Aid/CPR training
● Current Criminal Record Check/Valid Vulnerable Sector
