Bee Montessori Niagara is seeking a passionate and dedicated Casa Assistant to join our growing school community. The successful candidate will work in partnership with a trained Montessori Casa teacher.

Job Description/Responsibilities Include:
●Working hours: 11:15 pm – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday
(*hours are subject to change, depending on the school’s needs)
●Provides assistance to Montessori teachers
●Observes and guides children while they complete purposeful, meaningful work in a safe and nurturing environment
●Uses a positive and effective approach to behavior management that aligns with Bee Montessori Niagara’s philosophy, and models desired behaviors
●Competently and confidentiality assists children with toileting and diaper changing
●Provides one on one support to children as needed
●Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times when communicating with students, families and colleagues
●Complies with Ministry of Education regulations
●Supervises and dismisses children during the School’s Evening Extended Hours Program

Qualifications:
●Previous experience working with children ages 3 years to 6 years
●Montessori Teacher’s Assistant or RECE
●Current First Aid/CPR training, Current Criminal Record Check/Valid Vulnerable Sector
