About Us – Who is Dario?
It all started in the late ’70s when my dad, Dario, moved to Pleasant Beach to serve the people of Sherkston with his authentic Italian food. Known for his famous pasta sauce, veal sandwiches, and $5 mini pizzas, Dario would walk the beach selling food to visitors from near and far. My parents worked tirelessly, and those memories shaped our family’s love for sharing great food. Today, we proudly carry on Dario’s tradition, bringing the same homemade Italian dishes to our community, ensuring that his legacy lives on through each bite.

About the Role
As a Kitchen Helper, you’ll play a vital role in creating the high-quality, handmade dishes our customers will love. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of menu items made from scratch.
- Prepping ingredients and using kitchen equipment like a pizza oven and deep fryer.
- Helping with line cooking and maintaining clean, organized workstations.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A strong sense of teamwork, cleanliness, and time management.
- Ability to multitask and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a coachable attitude.
- Kitchen or cooking experience (strongly preferred).
- A food safety certificate (an asset).
- Open availability for shifts during restaurant hours (Monday–Saturday, 11am–8pm).
