Volunteer Reception – Administration

JOB TITLE:                Reception – Administration Office “B” Bld.

STATUS:                      Volunteer Position

SCHEDULE:               Monday- Friday 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

START DATE:            Immediate

Role Objective:

Under the direction of the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, this administrative volunteer position will welcome customers and guests in a warm and friendly manner.  Looking for an energetic and friendly receptionist with experience providing administrative support and customer service to clients and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Ability to deal with monies, cash register, debit and credit machine

Expectations:

  • Answer general inquiries in a pleasant manner.
  • Give directions and manage the flow of traffic inquiries
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when answering inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise tact & diplomacy in dealing with residents, other staff, and family members.
  • Comfortable with simple monies transactions
  • Strong assessment and interpersonal skills.
