We are hiring a full-time, permanent Customer Account Representative to join our growing team in Grimsby. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the relationship, all correspondence, and more between select customers. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week; day shift – 8:30am start
Wage: $30.00-$32.00/hour
Overview:
- Report to Sales & Marketing Manager
- Manage relationship between VTR and select customers
- Regular communication with customer via phone and email
- Document and acknowledge customer concerns; work with client and VTR team to address customer concerns, complaints, or issues in a timely manner
- Responsible for unbiased decision-making in support of both VTR and the customer regarding projects
- Accurate note-taking and completion of any necessary documentation
- Visiting customer sites as needed
- Ensure the use of proper PPE when required on shop floor
- Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, as well as VTR’s Mission, Vision, and Values
- Other related sales & administrative duties as required
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales or account representative role
- Strong understanding of the automation process as an asset
- Experience within similar manufacturing environments; ability to learn and understand the technical aspects of this role
- Experience using MS Office programs including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- High degree of customer service skills; proven experience within similar customer relations role
- Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills while working under pressure
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong documentation skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-function team
- Team-oriented and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices within a manufacturing environment
- CSA-approved safety shoes
- Valid passport and the ability to travel to the United States and internationally if necessary
- G-Class Driver’s License with driver’s record in good standing
