Marketing Manager

Vintage Hotels & Niagara’s Finest Hotels are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our growing team!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist the Director of Marketing in the execution of the marketing plan.
  • Create social media content, post social media, and oversee the social media brand ambassadors.
  • Attend all marketing events hosted by our marketing partners.
  • Continually research all marketing platforms including but not limited to print, online, radio, & TV.
  • Prepare monthly social media reports.
  • Revise and maintain VH, NFH, Vineyard Wedding, and Jordan Village websites as required with Vice President of Sales & Marketing and active agency.
  • Maintain Masaki, Thai, and Butlers websites with agency.
  • Insure all photography is up to date and plan accordingly on a year-to-date basis for updates.
  • Manage all photo, video, and television shoots.
  • Continually update all collateral and support materials for the wedding and conference Sales Managers.
  • Coordinate media events and familiarization tours, property specific with the Director of Marketing and or Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
  • Create marketing presentations and supporting documents.
  • Update, refresh, and create all marketing pieces utilized in house customer facing and team member facing.
  • Research government business development/marketing partnership funding opportunities (i.e., government programs).
  • Build long-term relationships with marketing partners.
  • Execute live eye executions.
  • Create story boards for video content and television commercials.
  • Search and seek photography from wedding photographers.
  • Develops department quotas and goals in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
  • Maintains accurate records and tracks the results as they refer to the Sales and Reservations departments including Source Reports, Lost Business Reports, and Summary of Rooms on the Books Reports, Cost per Reservation, Forecasts, and other reports deemed necessary to achieve budgeted sales levels.
  • Develops special programs to improve conference segment occupancies as well as provides opportunities to show appreciation to repeat customers.
  • Prepares necessary reports as required on a weekly basis.
  • Maintains an updated client list for direct mail and telemarketing programs.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience at a management level in sales environment.
  • Previous experience in managing personnel within a Sales and Reservations department.
  • Experience in hospitality marketing/sales environment is an asset.
  • Fully conversant with local labour laws, regulations, and practices.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000
