Position Overview: A Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Project Planning: Work closely with project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets, and timeframes for projects.
- Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and preparing reports.
- Resource Coordination: Ensure all project team members have the necessary resources and information to complete their tasks.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Monitor Progress: Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field is often preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in project management or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
Additional Duties:
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
- Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
