Landscape Labourer

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Laborer for our client in Fort Erie. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a desire to contribute to the beautification and maintenance of various landscapes.

This position is seasonal, $19.50/hr, days Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding to ensure the aesthetic appeal of properties.
• Build and install landscape features including flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while ensuring proper irrigation systems are in place.
• Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and equipment after use.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining equipment effectively.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping techniques and equipment operation.
