Vertical Staffing Resources is a Staffing Vendor, servicing various clients across the Niagara Region. We are building our applicant pool for Construction Labourers for on demand work. We are a proud member of the Niagara Construction Association and have been a local staffing vendor for over 30 years under previous management.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Construction Labourer:
- Work is on demand and temporary – you are applying to be a part of our applicant pool to be considered for future assignments.
- General construction labour, including job site clean-up and moving materials.
- Perform manual labour such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Use of hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Load and unload materials and tools.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Construction Labourer:
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Great customer service and adaptability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full PPE is needed: Steel toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, glasses, and gloves.
- Own transportation preferred but not required.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $17.50 – $18.50 per hour with 4% vacation pay included.
- Potentially higher wage depending on assignment and applicant skill set.
The Shift You Will Be Working is:
- 1st shift (day shift).
- Occasional weekends required.
- Shift timings dependent upon assignment.
Where You Will Be Working, as a Construction Labourer:
- St. Catharines
- Niagara-on-the-Lake
- Niagara Falls
- Welland
- Fort Erie
- Beamsville
- Potentially anywhere in the Niagara Region – workers having their own transportation is preferred
