We are looking for Chef de Cuisine with a true passion for food an unrelenting drive to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Located inside the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel directly overlooking Niagara Falls,
Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
- Responsible for menu development and recipe creation
- Manage revenue, costing, and budgeting/P&L for the BOH
- Scheduling all BOH team members
- Hiring and training of all kitchen team members
- Education both BOH and FOH on new menu items/ingredients
- Sourcing of products
- Creating and maintaining relationships with vendors
- Adhere to Marriott brand standards, process and equipment standards, and Health and Safety standards
- Other duties as required
What you’ll need as a Chef de Cuisine:
Experience: 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
Education: Post-Secondary degree in Culinary Arts
Certification: Inter-Provincial Red Seal
Other Qualifications:
- Strong budgeting/P&L experience required
- Ability to work evenings/weekends
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding attention to detail as it pertains to food quality and presentation
- Ability to lead/supervise a team of restaurant professionals
