Currently recruiting an accounting clerk on behalf of our client in the Welland area. The duties include but not limited to matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a Temporary to Permanent position.
What you get to do every day:
- Sage knowledge or various accounting software.
- Able to meet deadliness
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 ( excel, word, outlook, etc.).
- AP/AR knowledge, job costing and expense report analysis.
- Extremely accurate and proficient in data entry.
- Ability to work on several projects at the same time.
- A/R plus Sage Accpac would be a great asset.
- ability to speak French is an asset but not required. As there may be some interaction with the Montreal branch.
- Answering phones and forwarding the odd fax.
Job Requirements:
- Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system
- Sage AccPac experience required
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Foundational knowledge in ERP Solutions
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
Shifts: Mondays to Fridays, days
Wage: $23/hr
