Fort Erie Radio is seeking account managers to add to our growing advertising sales team. Help businesses get their brand and messaging in front of our thousands of targeted local readers and listeners.
Successful candidates will be responsible for approaching local businesses (B2B), offering advertising products and solutions, preparing radio scripts and presenting custom packages, closing the sale, and following up for repeat business.
A strong knowledge of and established connections in Greater Fort Erie would be ideal; however, we will gladly work with advertisers elsewhere in Niagara Region.
Up to 35 per cent commission paid monthly on all advertising products sold. Pay will vary with performance, but annual earnings of $45,000 to $65,000+ would be realistic for most experienced sales professionals.
Training will be provided. Start date is immediate. Previous advertising sales experience, such as radio, television, or print, with a track record of success is preferred.
A passion for news, rock, and local talk would also help.
Some leads will be provided by Fort Erie Radio, but account managers are ultimately responsible for establishing and nurturing their own client base.
Account managers are independent contractors and thus require their own reliable transportation, smartphone with data plan, and applicable insurance.
