We are looking for a Bindery Operator with a background in Graphic Design for our client in St. Catharine’s which provides top of the line, Eco-Friendly Printing!
Responsibilities:
- Operate computer-controlled machines that cut, shape and design various materials
- Set up and adjust machine settings according to specifications
- Use of Automatic Rotary Cutters
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a Graphic Design role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting machinery
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Experience with Fiery
Hours of work
- Monday – Thursday 7am-4pm
- Friday 8am-12pm
Wage: $23-28 per hour
